Cowabunga! Iron Studios Announces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1:10 Art Scale StatuesJose Lopez
The latest 1980s brand that Iron Studios has added to their ever-growing catalog of pop culture statues is one of the best and most iconic, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Announcing all four of the Turtles at once for preorder, each individual figure stands atop a sewer base that connects to form one complete diorama. Cowabunga, dudes!
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the franchise that just continues to chug along, rebooting into new iterations every few years to great acclaim. Iron Studios has decided to add to those iterations with their own, giving the foursome a unique design that adds some realism to the mix.
The stocky, muscular bodies work well for me, giving these guys some weight that would make any member of the Foot Clan have second thoughts. Coupled with excellent poses for the four that hint at their individual personalities and fighting styles, these are must-haves for any Turtles fan.
The TMNT are one of those teams that demand collecting all four characters. Created as a cohesive unit, getting just one or two of these guys seems somewhat unlikely. That said, Iron Studios is releasing them separately, so there is the option there, which is welcome.
All four of the Iron Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles BDS 1:10 Art Scale Statues – Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello – are available for preorder now. The entire team is slated for release in Q1, 2023.
