Sonya Blade Puts The Klassic In Iron Studios’ Mortal Kombat Statue

When Iron Studios announced that they had acquired the Mortal Kombat license a while back, I was overjoyed. The amount of amazing character designs would surely make for some epic statues in Tenth Scale and it turns out that Iron Studios has not disappointed. Their latest reveal is the First Lady of Mortal Kombat, Sonya Blade, and she’s available for preorder right now! The sculpt on Sonya is spot-on, bringing the video game character to life perfectly. Going with a mixture of her costume design from both the first installment in the series and the third was a great move, giving...

Hordak & Imp Become Masters Of The Universe Thanks To Art Scale Iron Studios Statue

The amount of popularity that the Masters of the Universe franchise has amassed in recent years is impressive. The 1983 line of action figures, as well as the cartoon universe based on it, were of course huge hits at the time, but only the diehard fans stuck with it since then. Now, however, between several shows on Netflix, a hit line of figures from Mattel and Iron Studios’ and Tweeterhead’s series of statues, the franchise is king again. On that note, Iron Studios has announced a new entry with the leader of the Evil Horde himself, Hordak, which is available...

Iron Studios Takes The Shot With Art Scale Cad Bane Statue

Infamous intergalactic bounty hunter Cad Bane made quite the impression when he appeared on the Disney+ series, The Book of Boba Fett. The pseudo-Western swagger, the alien red eyes and the quickest draw of a blaster on Tatooine all added up to even Star Wars fans new to the character instantly falling in love. So it’s perfect timing for Iron Studios to reveal that their 1:10 Art Scale statue of the character is available for preorder right now! I’m certainly a Star Wars fan, but I’ll admit to never having watched the animated The Clone Wars series. That said, now that...

Darth Maul Gets The 1:4 Scale Legacy Replica Treatment From Iron Studios

Iron Studios is riding the Star Wars Celebration train and has just revealed their newest Legacy Replica Quarter Scale statue will be the dreaded Sith Lord, Darth Maul. Complete with two portraits and one very imposing shelf presence, this villain is available for preorder right now! Based on his appearance in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul is sculpted standing on a Tatooine-inspired desert base while his sentry Droid floats beside him. Standing at about 23-inches tall, this is one impressive take on the character and can easily be the centerpiece of any Star Wars fan’s collection. The interchangeable portraits, hooded...

Hot Toys Doubles Down On The Star Wars BARC Speeder By Including A Sidecar & Clone Trooper

When Hot Toys does something, they certainly go all in. The Hong Kong-based toy company just announced a Star Wars Commander Appo and BARC Speeder set, surprising fans and collectors alike. Then they announced a second vehicle set, this time with a Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper that includes not only another BARC Speeder, but one equipped with a sidecar! This new Sixth Scale set is available for preorder now and looks amazing! While I was a little iffy on Hot Toys announcing two BARC Speeder sets simultaneously, I’ve warmed to the idea, mainly based on the sidecar included here. The possibility...

Commander Appo Rides In Style With Hot Toys 1:6 Scale BARC Speeder

While every Sixth Scale collector knows that Hot Toys absolutely loves making Star Wars Troopers, they’re also aware that the company doesn’t make many 1:6 scale vehicles. Well, it looks like some things are staying the same, but others are certainly changing. The latest announcement celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Attack of the Clones is the preorder for not only a new Clone Trooper figure, but the inclusion of a BARC Speeder he can ride on as well! Clone Commander Appo will allow for Star Wars collectors to further fill the ranks of their Sixth Scale Clone Army. The figure will...

Sideshow Collectibles Has The Droid You’re Looking For With Life-Size C-3PO

On the list of coolest collectibles in the world, life-size Droids from Star Wars are quite possibly at the top. Well, Sideshow Collectibles are aiming to make fans happy. As a companion for their recently-announced 1:1 scale R2-D2, they’ve just placed up for pre-order a 1:1 scale C-3PO! I’m not the biggest fan of 1:1 scale figures from films or television. What I do enjoy, however, are life-size replicas of items like weapons or devices. There’s something about the Droids like this C-3PO and the aforementioned R2-D2 that skirts that line for me, though, so I’m enamored with this announcement.  C-3PO stands...

Iron Studios X-Men Vs. Sentinel – Bishop BDS 1:10 Art Scale Statue Review

In The Beginning You can’t go too far into the 1990s era of the X-Men franchise without eventually reaching what some would call the poster child for that time in the comics, Bishop. The time-displaced X-Man from the future is a grim and gritty, no-nonsense lover of huge guns and capital punishment. Of course he was introduced in the 90s! While Iron Studios has made their way through plenty of characters in their X-Men Versus Sentinel Diorama Series, none were as much of a no-brainer as Bishop. Let’s dig in! Background Unlike many of the long-standing X-Men characters, which were introduced in either...
