Hot Toys Spider-Man: Far From Home – Movie Promo Edition Review MMS 535

When the original release of the Hot Toys Tech Suit dropped in both regular and a deluxe version, no one could guess that it would sell out or rise in price so quickly in the aftermarket.  The Spider-Man: Homecoming releases were exceptionally done, but if you skipped them or weren’t collecting at the time, the odds of grabbing one for a reasonable price were slim to none. Luckily, when the sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home was released, Spider-Man wore his Tech Suit in several scenes. This allowed Hot Toys to re-release the figure (with some slight improvements) as a Sideshow...

The Flash Speeds Into Collector Hands as Hot Toys Announces 1/6 Figure Pre-Order

“Run, Barry, run!” While fans of the DC Cinematic universe have been impatiently waiting for an Ezra Miller-lead Flash movie to somehow materialize after years of stops and stutters, Grant Gustin has been dependably chugging along as the CW’s Flash in the TV show of the same name. Considering how popular the show is and how long its been airing, it’s a little surprising that Hot Toys took this long to make a Sixth Scale figure of this iteration of the Flash. Whatever the case, the Scarlet Speedster has finally arrived! Premiering back in 2014, the show has been a fairly dependable amount...

Hot Toys completes lineup with Avengers: Endgame – Thor and Hulk Pre-Orders!

Praise Odin, Fat Thor has finally arrived! And he’s not alone. Two of the more controversial narrative decisions from Avengers: Endgame were to make Thor overweight and to make the Hulk smart. Fans were split down the middle whether or not they enjoyed the out-of-the-box directions. I would argue that, even if you would have preferred to see the Hulk smashing with abandon or Thor looking buff and heroic, you have to respect the filmmakers choosing to zig when you were convinced that they would zag.  Hot Toys has just given us even more cause to enjoy the film’s choices...

10 Tips for Posing Hot Toys Figures to Enhance Your Display

The beauty of collecting Hot Toys figures is that as a collector you have the option to re-pose your figures and change your collectibles display on a routine basis if you wish. Collectors typically belong to one of two schools of thought here: there’s a group who keep their figures in “museum poses;” more stoic with the figure standing still & upright usually or “dynamic poses;” a more active and engaging display. A percentage of collectors swear by these museum style poses and typically say it’s for fear of damaging their figure or weakening the joints overtime. While this...

10 Sci-Fi / Fantasy Characters Hot Toys Needs To Make

When it comes to pop culture like comics, television and movies there will always be a character that says something to you. Hot Toys Figures That Look Identical To the Actor

Attempting to capture an actor’s likeness in action figure form can be an incredible feat. More often than not, some tiny detail or imperfection in an actor’s chin or nose will fail to be properly reproduced, throwing off the entire sculpt. Sometimes a figure will succeed from one angle, but when viewed from another, they fall flat. The Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Hot Toys has long been known as the top name in movie collectibles. Their sixth scale figures seem to work some manner of dark magic that allows them to steal a little bit of the actors’ souls,...
